Best of Pullman City - CD review
With sample CDs that's often "one thing" ... 2, 3 bands that interest you, the rest ... well. Accordingly, we were unexcited when downloading the sound files. However, this should change when we pressed the PLAY button.
If you close your eyes, you'll hear a guitar like Brian Setzer, the voice of Elvis, a Jerry Lee Lewis, songs that might as well have come from Carl Perkins or Gene Vincent ... all "Made in Europe" in 2018. Not dusty, not antiquated. With this CD, the "The Ridin Dudes Records Austria" record label succeeded in gathering well-known bands on one CD, as a sort of positioning of modern European rock'n'roll.
We are delighted to have this CD as a download in the store before the official CD presentation at this year's Pullman City Rockabilly Convention on September 27th. And the sensational "early bird" price of € 7,70.-
