Dieter is a lifelong friend, we know each other more than 40 years and he helped me many many times without any doubts in a lot of musical matters. Apart from his skills as a sought-after producer/technician in his supercool studio, to me he is one of the essential guitarists on the planet, absolutely underrated, because he doesn`t give a damn, he never did! He kept recording stunning solo-CDs since the 1990s on which you can hear guests like Alex Acuna (Zawinul, Santana), Vinnie Colaiuta (Zappa, Sting), Tim Ries (Stones) and more stunners.
